No. Kleo first shows a card with the model, the settings and the exact credit price, and you can change them. Credits move only when you tap Generate. For a film, you also approve the treatment and the cost before the render starts. If a generation fails, its credits come back.

With your e-mail address, at app.kleooai.com. You can look around first; Kleo asks for the account when you generate something. Already use Kleo in an assistant? Your private Kleo key opens the same account, with the same credits, in the app.

Yes. Kleo is also a remote MCP server at https://mcp.kleooai.com/mcp: add it to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor, Claude Code or another compatible client and ask for videos, animatics and films in the conversation. Two products from one storyboard, ordered from the chat in the app or in your assistant. The film: a complete narrated film, in a realistic look (generated live-action footage, cinematic) or an animation look (a 2D animated film), every shot generated as moving footage by Seedance 2.5 from its own Nano Banana Pro frame. The animatic: the same treatment, storyboard and drawn frames, the camera moving over each frame, the same narrator and graphic layer, no generated clip — 15 to 60 seconds, 16:9 or 9:16, either look; it is also the preview of a film. Kleo writes the treatment and the storyboard, narrates and renders an MP4 on a GPU rented for the job. You get a download link in the chat, good for 7 days.

Two. Realistic is generated live-action footage with a cinematic feel, and animation is a 2D animated look. A given length costs the same credits in either. The gallery has four showcases: Tether, Apex, the opening of Signal Delay and a Short about octopuses. A film from 15 seconds to 5 minutes, an animatic from 15 to 60 seconds. Choose 16:9 for YouTube or any landscape video, 9:16 for a vertical Short. Before you start, your assistant can list the formats, lengths and voices, together with the credits left on your account.

An MP4 in 4K at 60 fps: 3840×2160 for 16:9, 2160×3840 for 9:16. Every length, both looks and both products render at that resolution. For a film you can add the AI upscale: Real-ESRGAN + RIFE sharpen every shot on the rendering GPU, for the film’s credits again (at least 5), refunded automatically if it cannot be applied. The sample films on the site are 1080p 60 fps copies of their 4K masters.

Yes. One narrator, in English (the default) or Italian; a music track and burned-in subtitles when you ask for them. Kleo’s intake asks about both, and your answers show in the treatment you approve. The current Terms specify a small Kleo mark on the video.

No. You direct the film in the conversation: your assistant reads your request against Kleo’s intake (subject, length, format, look, film or animatic, AI upscale, music, subtitles, narration language; optionally audience, tone and what must appear), asks for whatever is missing in one message, writes the treatment and the storyboard, and Kleo renders. If you want changes after the download, open the MP4 in any editor.

Yes. A new account receives 5 starter credits with no card required: one animatic of up to 20 seconds. A generated-footage film requires a purchased credit pack and enough eligible credits for its duration. A €5 pack adds 10 purchased credits, the cost of a 15-second film; a 30-second film costs 20. During the launch, a code opens one free 15-second film before any pack. Check your usable film balance before approving a render.

Tell your assistant “redeem PRODUCTHUNT” (or HN, REDDIT, X, TIKTOK), or type the code on your account page. It opens one film of up to 15 seconds for an account that has not bought a pack. Each code works for its first 30 accounts, once per account; a used-up code says so and charges nothing.

Your account page and kleo_account show your link. A friend who connects through it is linked to you; when they buy their first pack they get 5 extra credits on it and you get 10. Only a real payment counts, once per friend.

Every account with enough credits can order an animatic. Film rendering also requires at least one credit-pack purchase, or a launch code for one 15-second film. Ask your assistant to check your eligibility, usable balance and the exact cost before you approve a render. Packs start at €5 and are one-off purchases.

In the app, every card shows its exact price before you tap Generate: a 5-second Seedance 2.0 Fast clip at 480p costs 4 credits, a 5-second Seedance 2.5 clip at 720p 7, an 8-second Veo 3.1 Fast clip 5 and an 8-second Veo 3.1 clip 12; a 15-second template costs 10 credits at 480p, 19 at 720p and 37 at 1080p. A film is priced by length: one credit covers 1.5 seconds, rounded up, with a 10-credit minimum — 15 seconds cost 10 credits, 20 seconds 14, 30 seconds 20, 60 seconds 40, 90 seconds 60, 3 minutes 120 and 5 minutes 200. An animatic is 5 credits up to 20 seconds and 10 credits up to 60. Packs are one-off purchases in EUR through Stripe’s secure checkout (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal), paid once: €5 for 10 credits, €15 for 35, €40 for 100. Nothing is charged until kleo_create_video accepts the job (in the app, until you tap Generate), and the exact credits are stated first. See the pricing →

There is no sign-up form and no password in an assistant. While your client connects to Kleo, it opens Kleo’s own page; you press one button, Start free, and land back in the chat with 5 credits on your account. Ask the assistant for your account page whenever you want the balance and the checkout links. A limited number of new accounts open each day.

The download link for a finished film is good for 7 days: save the MP4 within that time. Your account is tied to a private Kleo key, which the assistant shows on request (kleo_account). Whoever has the key owns the account, so store it securely, use it only to carry the account to another browser, and never post it publicly or in a screenshot.

Kleo’s Terms say the video is yours to publish, monetize and edit. They also require permission before reselling Kleo’s output as your own service. If you plan to deliver videos to paying clients, describe your intended use to hello@kleooai.com before committing to the work. Download the MP4 within 7 days and keep your own copy.

Finished MP4 files are deleted after 7 days. Account records, prompts, storyboards, render costs and activity logs are kept until you request deletion, as described in Privacy. The assistant’s permission to connect lasts until you remove Kleo from that assistant. To request a copy, correction or deletion, email hello@kleooai.com with your account number. Never send your private Kleo key.

In the app, attach photos, video clips or sound clips to a request and they become references for the video; apps such as Face Swap, Talking Photo and Lipsync work on your own pictures and videos. In a film, your photos become character references (in an assistant, through an upload link, kleo_upload_link), so the same faces carry through every shot; the voice is one of Kleo’s narrators, in English or Italian, and every shot is generated, so your own voice, logo and clips are not part of a film order.

In the cloud, not on your computer: the Kleo app runs in your browser, the connector at https://mcp.kleooai.com/mcp runs on Kleo’s servers, and there is nothing to install. A film renders on a GPU rented for your job; Kleo returns the links when it is done.

A film typically 25 to 35 minutes on the GPU rented for your job, an animatic about 15 to 20 (no clip to wait for); the server gives you this estimate, and the exact time depends on the job, so it is not a fixed promise. Your assistant can wait with the render and hand you the links (kleo_wait_for_video), or you can ask it for the progress whenever you like (kleo_get_job).

Yes. Ask your assistant to cancel the job (kleo_cancel_job): the render stops and the credits it had not spent are refunded. Nothing is charged before kleo_create_video accepts a job, and a refused call charges nothing.

No. Kleo hands your assistant a link to the finished MP4; you review it, download it and upload it yourself. Kleo never posts to YouTube, TikTok or any other channel.

Your assistant writes the treatment and the storyboard with Kleo’s tools (Kleo’s own planning model steps in when the assistant leaves it to it). Google Nano Banana Pro draws every frame, including the character sheets made from your photos, and a vision model checks each picture against your request. In a film, ByteDance Seedance 2.5 generates the footage of every shot from its frame; an animatic orders no clip — the camera moves over the frames. Kokoro voices narrate in English or Italian, Suno writes the music track when you ask for one, and Kleo’s own engine cuts and renders the film in 4K 60 fps on a GPU rented for the job. Finished MP4 files are deleted after 7 days. Prompts, storyboards and account activity records are kept until you ask for deletion. The Model Context Protocol is the standard that assistants like Claude and ChatGPT use to work with external tools. Kleo is one of those tools: once connected, your assistant knows how to make videos and films the same way it knows how to search the web. Yes. In the same browser it is one account and one pot of credits, so a second assistant costs you nothing. A different browser — another computer, or a private window — is a new account, unless you carry your Kleo key across: ask your assistant and it will show you.
