Two products from one storyboard. The film: a complete narrated film, in a realistic look (generated live-action footage, cinematic) or an animation look (a 2D animated film), every shot generated as moving footage from its own frame. The animatic: the same treatment, storyboard and drawn frames, the camera moving over each frame, the same narrator and graphic layer, no generated clip — 15 to 60 seconds, 16:9 or 9:16, either look; it is also the preview of a film. With your assistant Kleo writes the treatment and the storyboard, narrates and renders an MP4 on a GPU rented for the job. You get a download link in the assistant, good for 7 days.

A film from 15 seconds to 5 minutes, an animatic from 15 to 60 seconds. Choose 16:9 for YouTube or any landscape video, 9:16 for a vertical Short. Before you start, your assistant can list the formats, lengths and voices, together with the credits left on your account.

An MP4 in 4K at 60 fps: 3840×2160 for 16:9, 2160×3840 for 9:16. Every length, both looks and both products render at that resolution. The sample films on the site are 1080p 60 fps copies of their 4K masters.

One narrator, with a male or a female voice, in English or Italian. No background music, no captions or subtitles, and no on-screen text in the film. If your channel needs those, add them in your own editor after the download.

No. You direct the film in the conversation: your assistant reads your request against Kleo’s intake (subject, length, format, look; optionally audience, tone and what must appear), asks for whatever is missing, writes the treatment and the storyboard, and Kleo renders. If you want changes after the download, open the MP4 in any editor.

Yes, and it is included for everyone: connecting is free and gives every new account 7 credits, with no form and no card — one animatic, at 5, with 2 left. Free credits never buy a film: a film costs at least 10 credits and is made only for accounts that have bought a pack. Add the €5 pack of 10 credits and a new account has 17: the film opens, and a 30-second Short costs 15.

Every account can order animatics. A film is made only for accounts that have bought a credit pack — any pack, from €5 — because its clips are generated at Kleo’s expense: free or gifted credits never buy one. Your assistant sees this in kleo_account (has_paid) and chooses the product in kleo_create_video (product: "film" or "animatic").

A film is priced by length: one credit covers two seconds, rounded up, with a 10-credit minimum — 15 or 20 seconds cost 10 credits, 30 seconds 15, 60 seconds 30, 90 seconds 45, 3 minutes 90 and 5 minutes 150. An animatic is 5 credits flat, at any length from 15 to 60 seconds. Packs are one-off purchases in EUR through a Stripe checkout, with no subscription: €5 for 10 credits, €15 for 35, €40 for 100. There is no sign-up form and no password. While your client connects to Kleo, it opens Kleo’s own page; you press one button, Start free, and land back in the chat with 7 credits on your account. Ask the assistant for your account page whenever you want the balance and the checkout links. A limited number of new accounts open each day.

The download link for a finished film is good for 7 days: save the MP4 within that time. Your account is tied to a private Kleo key, which the assistant shows on request (kleo_account). Whoever has the key owns the account, so store it securely, use it only to carry the account to another browser, and never post it publicly or in a screenshot.

You do. Publish it, monetize it, edit it. Kleo keeps the file for 7 days so you can download it, then deletes it.

Not yet, and there is no date. Your own voice, logo and clips are on the list, not in the product: today a film has one of Kleo’s narrators, in English or Italian, and every shot is generated; an animatic uses the same narrators over Kleo’s drawn frames.

On a GPU rented for your job, not on your computer. Kleo is a remote MCP server at https://mcp.kleooai.com/mcp: there is no app to install and nothing to run on your machine. Your assistant talks to the server; the server rents the GPU, renders the film and returns the links.

A film typically 25 to 35 minutes on the GPU rented for your job, an animatic about 15 to 20 (no clip to wait for); the server gives you this estimate, and the exact time depends on the job, so it is not a fixed promise. Your assistant can wait with the render and hand you the links (kleo_wait_for_video), or you can ask it for the progress whenever you like (kleo_get_job).

Yes. Ask your assistant to cancel the job (kleo_cancel_job): the render stops and the credits it had not spent are refunded. Nothing is charged before kleo_create_video accepts a job, and a refused call charges nothing.

No. Kleo hands your assistant a link to the finished MP4; you review it, download it and upload it yourself. Kleo never posts to YouTube, TikTok or any other channel.

Your assistant writes the treatment and the storyboard with Kleo’s tools (Kleo’s own planning model steps in when the assistant leaves it to it). In a film, the footage of every shot is generated by kie.ai’s video models from Kleo’s frames and prompts; an animatic orders no clip — its frames are Kleo’s own, with the camera moving over them. An open neural voice narrates in English or Italian; Kleo’s own engine cuts and renders the film on a GPU rented for the job. Kleo never trains anything on your prompts or your files, and keeps them only as long as the video — see the privacy page.

Eight clients have tested, step-by-step connection guides: Claude (app and web), ChatGPT, Grok, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, OpenCode and Gemini CLI. Windsurf and the Gemini app accept the same address, and so does any MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP with OAuth. Some clients need a paid plan for custom connectors: ChatGPT requires Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise, the Gemini app Google AI Pro or Ultra; Claude’s free plan allows one custom connector. The Model Context Protocol is the standard that assistants like Claude and ChatGPT use to work with external tools. Kleo is one of those tools: once connected, your assistant knows how to make films the same way it knows how to search the web. There is nothing else to set up: no app and no dashboard. Yes. In the same browser it is one account and one pot of credits, so a second assistant costs you nothing. A different browser — another computer, or a private window — is a new account, unless you carry your Kleo key across: ask your assistant and it will show you.
