A new account starts with 7 credits: an animatic costs 5, a film at least 10 — and a film is made only for accounts that have bought a credit pack. Packs are sold as one-off purchases from €5, with no subscription.
The videos are yours. Publish them, monetize them, edit them. What you asked for is your responsibility.
Nothing here is a promise of uptime. One person runs Kleo, and it rents its GPUs by the minute, so some days it is busy.
What Kleo is
Kleo is a server your assistant talks to. You ask Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or another assistant for a video; it passes the request to Kleo; Kleo writes a storyboard, rents a GPU machine for the minutes the render takes, and hands back a rendered MP4. There is no app and no dashboard.
Credits
Work is counted in credits. A film costs 1 credit for every 2 seconds, rounded up, with a minimum of 10 credits per film. An animatic — the same storyboard and drawn frames under a moving camera, with the narration and no generated clip, up to 60 seconds — costs 5 credits whatever its length. A film is made only for accounts that have bought a credit pack, any pack. Its clips are generated by a third party at Kleo’s expense, so credits that were given rather than bought — the starter credits, a refund’s surplus, a gift — buy animatics, never a film. Every account can order animatics.
- If a render fails, the credits come back in full. Always.
- If you cancel before the machine starts, the credits come back in full.
- If you cancel part-way through, the unspent credits come back — the part that was already rendered stays spent, because that GPU time was already paid for.
Credits are not money. They have no cash value, they cannot be exchanged or transferred, and they exist only inside Kleo. Credit packs are sold as one-off purchases — €5 for 10 credits, €15 for 35, €40 for 100 — through the checkout on your account page, which you reach by asking your assistant; there is no subscription. Before a render starts, Kleo states the exact credits it will take, and a request it refuses costs nothing.
Your account
Your account is a signed cookie in the browser you connected from — there is no password to lose and no email to recover. If you clear your cookies without saving your Kleo key, the account and its credits are gone, and there is no way for anybody, including Kleo, to give them back to you. Your assistant will show you the key whenever you ask.
Anyone holding your Kleo key can spend your credits. Treat it the way you would treat a password.
To keep the starter credits going round, Kleo hands out a limited number of new accounts each day, and limits how many videos one account starts in a day. When a limit is reached, it says so and asks you to come back tomorrow. It is not personal.
What you may not ask for
Every request is rendered on a machine rented with somebody’s real money, and carries the Kleo name. So:
- Nothing illegal where you are, or where the video will be published.
- No content that sexualises minors, incites violence or hatred, or harasses a real person.
- No pretending to be a real person or a real organisation — no fake statements, fake endorsements, fake news reports.
- Nothing that infringes somebody else’s copyright or trademark. If you paste text, it must be yours to use.
- No attempt to break, flood or work around Kleo’s limits, and no reselling Kleo’s output as your own service without asking first.
Kleo may refuse or stop a render, and may close an account, when one of these is broken. Prompts are kept, so it is always possible to see what was asked for.
What you own, and what Kleo keeps
The video is yours. Kleo claims nothing over it and does not use it for anything else.
Two honest details. Every video carries a small Kleo mark on screen, where a channel name would go, and today you cannot turn it off. And the voice and the pictures are made by machine models: the same idea asked twice will not come out the same, and nobody can promise that a generated picture resembles nothing that exists.
The files last 7 days. After that the generated files are deleted and the links stop working. Download what you want to keep.
What is not promised
Kleo is offered as it is, during a beta. There is no guaranteed uptime, no guaranteed rendering time, and no guarantee that a given video comes out the way you imagined it. A render can fail; when it does, the credits come back, and that is the whole of what is owed.
Kleo can change, pause or stop at any time. If it stops for good, this page will say so before the files go.
