Review generated narration before publishing

An audio review checks meaning, intelligibility and continuity across the whole film. Listen without watching once, then compare sound and picture; different passes reveal different problems.

Planning sequence: Meaning, then Script, then Delivery, then Listening.

A practical method

  1. Listen for omitted words, repeated phrases and incorrect names.
  2. Check that important statements are audible and complete.
  3. Watch again to identify mismatches between narration and visual action.

An example brief to adapt

Written illustration of this method; not a report of a rendered film or a customer result.

Create an audio-review checklist for this approved script. Highlight names, numbers, negations and the closing call to action as priority listening points. After rendering, I will compare those moments with the exported audio before approving publication.

Review before moving on

  • Are negations and units intact?
  • Is any sentence cut off?
  • Does the spoken script match the approved meaning?

Record a concrete observation beside each check: a line in the treatment, a source passage or a timestamp in the downloaded film. If you cannot inspect an item yet, leave it open. A request in a brief is an intention; the result is what must be reviewed.

What to avoid

A transcript alone cannot reveal clipping, awkward timing or an incorrect pronunciation. Review the actual downloaded file rather than only the assistant's summary of the job.
