A practical method
- Open the full downloaded file in a media player.
- Inspect its resolution, frame rate and duration using file information.
- Watch the beginning and end, then the entire film with audio.
An example brief to adapt
Prepare an export checklist for my downloaded Kleo MP4. Record the actual dimensions, frame rate and duration from the file. Check for missing audio, frozen sections and an abruptly cut ending. Do not fill these fields from the marketing page.
Review before moving on
- Does the file play to the end?
- Do actual properties meet the brief?
- Is the edited export distinct from the original render?
Record a concrete observation beside each check: a line in the treatment, a source passage or a timestamp in the downloaded film. If you cannot inspect an item yet, leave it open. A request in a brief is an intention; the result is what must be reviewed.

What to avoid
A preview on a webpage may use a different rendition from the downloadable master. Inspect the deliverable you will actually publish or send to the client.
