Build a factual explainer without invented drama

A factual story can follow a question, evidence and conclusion without inventing private conversations or personal motives. Organize verified material into a clear sequence and mark illustration as illustration.

Planning sequence: Situation, then Change, then Consequence, then Ending.

A practical method

  1. Identify the question your sources actually answer.
  2. Separate recorded events from your interpretation of their significance.
  3. Use a visual explanation instead of a fictional quotation when evidence is limited.

An example brief to adapt

Written illustration of this method; not a report of a rendered film or a customer result.

Turn my supplied research notes into a 90-second explainer about a documented engineering repair. List the verified sequence first. Use generated illustrations rather than claiming to show the real event. Flag every proposed detail that is not present in the notes.

Review before moving on

  • Are dates and causal claims supported?
  • Are reconstructions distinguished from records?
  • Does the conclusion match the evidence?

Record a concrete observation beside each check: a line in the treatment, a source passage or a timestamp in the downloaded film. If you cannot inspect an item yet, leave it open. A request in a brief is an intention; the result is what must be reviewed.

What to avoid

Dramatic dialogue can sound authentic even when invented. Do not put words in a real person's mouth to bridge gaps in your source material.
