- Identify essential action near the frame edges.
- Test a crop on representative moments before editing the entire film.
- Replan scenes that cannot survive the new framing.
An example brief to adapt
Assess my landscape storyboard for a vertical adaptation. Identify shots where two important subjects would not fit together. Suggest new compositions for those scenes. Treat editing an existing MP4 and commissioning a new Kleo version as separate options.
Review before moving on
- Does the crop preserve essential action?
- Are added captions repositioned?
- Is a new version authorized if needed?
Record a concrete observation beside each check: a line in the treatment, a source passage or a timestamp in the downloaded film. If you cannot inspect an item yet, leave it open. A request in a brief is an intention; the result is what must be reviewed.
