A practical method
- Identify claims whose origin the viewer needs to know.
- Use a short, accurate attribution in the script.
- Keep the complete citation and relevant passage in the production notes.
An example brief to adapt
Rewrite my sourced explainer so that the central finding is attributed to the named institution in my notes. Do not turn its report into an endorsement of Kleo. Keep full links in a separate source list for the upload description and show me the revised wording.
Review before moving on
- Does the source actually support the statement?
- Is interpretation distinguished from evidence?
- Can viewers find the original material?
Record a concrete observation beside each check: a line in the treatment, a source passage or a timestamp in the downloaded film. If you cannot inspect an item yet, leave it open. A request in a brief is an intention; the result is what must be reviewed.

What to avoid
Mentioning an institution can sound like sponsorship if phrased carelessly. Attribute the information without implying the institution approved your film or product.
