A practical method
- Decide whether the idea works as a self-contained vertical film.
- Keep the intended duration within the destination's current limits.
- Preview the result in the platform rather than assuming an aspect ratio alone determines presentation.
An example brief to adapt
Plan a 45-second, 9:16 English narrated animation about a fictional paper boat. Use one clear action and a complete ending. Keep important visual information readable vertically. I will review the export and upload it through YouTube myself.
Review before moving on
- Is the file vertical as intended?
- Does the story stand alone?
- Have current platform requirements been checked?
Record a concrete observation beside each check: a line in the treatment, a source passage or a timestamp in the downloaded film. If you cannot inspect an item yet, leave it open. A request in a brief is an intention; the result is what must be reviewed.

What to avoid
Do not infer that every Kleo film duration will qualify as a Short. Product limits and platform classification rules are separate constraints.
