A practical method
- List words that may be unfamiliar to the chosen narrator.
- Provide reliable pronunciation guidance where you have it.
- Review those passages in the actual audio before approving the film.
An example brief to adapt
Before planning this English narrated profile, flag every personal name and place name in my notes. Do not replace them with invented alternatives. Return a pronunciation-review list and keep the narration provisional until I have checked those words with the appropriate speaker.
Review before moving on
- Are names spelled correctly?
- Has the audio been checked, not just the script?
- Are unverified pronunciations still flagged?
Record a concrete observation beside each check: a line in the treatment, a source passage or a timestamp in the downloaded film. If you cannot inspect an item yet, leave it open. A request in a brief is an intention; the result is what must be reviewed.

What to avoid
A phonetic hint may not be interpreted as intended by the voice system. Do not promise perfect pronunciation from spelling changes alone.
